MoveUP announcement

Tentative agreement reached with staff represented by USW 2009

Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce that MoveUP has reached a tentative agreement with the staff represented by USW 2009. As a result, our staff have returned to work.

Both MoveUP and USW 2009 are recommending this deal, and ratification votes will be held over the coming days. We will keep you updated on the outcome of these votes.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the bargaining committee for their dedication and hard work in achieving a fair and equitable agreement. The committee members consisted of Lori Mayhew, Annette Toth, Rysa Kronebusch, and Christy Slusarenko, who have shown exceptional commitment throughout this process working late into the evening multiple times.

We apologize for any disruption caused during this period and appreciate your understanding and patience. We look forward to resuming our focus on serving you, our valued members.

In a previous email we asked you to use info@moveuptogether.ca to contact the union. Please do not use this email address going forward. Please return to the previous contact methods. File grievances using grievance@moveuptogether.ca and contact your servicing representative directly for other matters.

Thank you for your continued support.

In solidarity,

Graeme Hutchison, President
Lori Mayhew, Secretary-Treasurer
Annette Toth, Vice-President, ICBC
Rysa Kronebusch, Vice-President, Utilities
Christy Slusarenko, Vice-President, Combined Units
