Alma Mater Society Security

Alma Mater Society Security workers provide security services at the University of British Columbia Student Union building.

AMS Security employees joined MoveUP in late 2011 and began bargaining with the AMS in early 2012. They are currently in mediation fighting for a fair first collective agreement that includes wages in line with other AMS administrative employees and other campus security, and protections against contracting out.
