MoveUP has represented employees at BC Computerized Dispatch Company since 1985. BC Computerized Dispatch is the dispatching department of Yellow Cabs Co. Ltd. in Vancouver.

Yellow Cab Company Ltd. of Vancouver is an owner-operated company serving the residents, tourists and business professionals in the City of Vancouver and surrounding area since 1921. Yellow Cab is presently the longest operating taxi company in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. With a fleet of 249 taxicabs on the road, available 24 hours a day, Yellow Cab features 37 wheelchair accessible vans and nearly 100 hybrid electric vehicles, making it the largest taxi company in British Columbia. MoveUP members are responsible for the dispatching of over 5,000 trips per day for Yellow Cabs.
