MoveUP represents employees at the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM). The BCCNM is a health regulator. Its legal obligation is to protect the public through the regulation of five distinct professions — licensed practical nurses, midwives, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and registered psychiatric nurses. Regulation helps protect the public by ensuring registrants provide care that is safe, competent, ethical, and meets the standards the college sets.
