October 4 – Sisters in Spirit vigils

Please take a moment on October 4th to honour the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. October 4th is ‘Sisters in Spirit’ and there are various vigils around the province. You can attend one in your area, or just take a moment out of you busy day to pay tribute to our stolen sisters and honour the families.

Visit the Native Women’s Association of Canada’s website to see a list of vigils listed at the bottom of the main page.

The Women’s Rights Committee also acknowledges October as Women’s History Month in Canada. Click here to learn more.
