On December 3, 2025, MoveUP President Annette Toth spoke at the TransLink Open Board meeting in support of the repatriation of HandyDART services back into public control.

Annette also called the taxi industry as an important partner, but not a replacement, for HandyDART services and this is an important partnership to continue with HandyDART back in public control.

MoveUP represents workers who work in the public transit industry, as well as members who work as taxi dispatchers.
