ICBC – Join us on Wednesday Evening or Thursday Morning to Discuss the Tentative Agreement

To: All MoveUP members at ICBC
All active ICBC members are invited to attend one of two information sessions where we will walk through our tentative collective agreement with ICBC and go over the process for voting on its ratification.
To attend, please register for ONE of the two (2) following sessions. Please note that the Thursday morning session is intended for members who are working Wednesday evening or who cannot attend in the evening but are not scheduled to be at work Wednesday morning. There is NO time off provided to attend the sessions so please make sure to sign up for the session that works with your schedule.
Session 1:

Date: Thursday, May 25
Time: 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Pacific Time

A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to your home and work emails.
As we anticipate a significant number of members will take part in the meetings, we ask that questions be submitted in advance, so we have an opportunity to address as many as possible during our two sessions.

To review a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), please click. When you review the MOA, you will see that there are three parts. First is the signed agreement dated May 18, 2023. Second is Appendix A. It includes many items, some substantive and some less significant, but all will be part of the renewed agreement. The third section is Appendix B. It lists most of monetary items, including wages, benefit improvements, the onetime subsidy, and the recruitment and retention program among other items.
Your bargaining committee unanimously recommends ratification of this tentative agreement.
Ratification Vote Information:
Voting on the tentative agreement will open this Friday, May 26 at 8:30 a.m. PT and will be open until Friday, June 2 at 4:00 p.m. PT . All voting will take place electronically on the Member Portal.
How you vote:
To vote, simply log in to the Member Portal and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you have not already registered a Member Portal account, you will need to do so. You can refer to our online guide or watch the tutorial videos for more information. You will need your membership number and your personal email address to create an account. If you do not know your membership number, please go to moveuptogether.ca/membernumber and complete the online form and you will be contacted within 1 business day.
