The Sheet Metal Industry Training Board (SMITB) administers the organized sheet metal industry apprenticeship system for BC (excluding Vancouver Island). SMITB is a multi-employer sponsor for sheet metal apprentices and architectural sheet metal apprentices attending subsidized technical training at the Sheet Metal Workers Training Centre (SMWTCS). The Sheet Metal Industry Training Board and the Sheet Metal Workers Training Centre Society’s collaborative mission is to provide the highest quality of technical and specialty training to apprentices and journeypersons in British Columbia by delivering the highest standards of instruction and utilizing industry methods and technologies
