Union 101 Course for Young Workers

Want to find out more about our union? Join us on Wednesday, February 7th, 2018 for Union 101, a course just for young workers – aged 30-and-under – hosted by the Youth Action Committee.

Union 101 will answer questions such as: What is a union?  How do we make a difference in workers’ lives? And the importance of active young workers in the labour movement.

Whether you have worked here for 6 months or 6 years, this course is for you. We will discuss workers rights under a collective agreement, how to build a stronger work place and how you can get involved.

A leave of absence will be provided for those who are scheduled to work. Lunch will also be provided.
