MoveUP Statement on International Transgender Day of Visibility

Today, March 31, marks International Transgender Day of Visibility. MoveUP proudly stands in solidarity with transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse people in our workplaces, our communities, and around the world.

This day is an opportunity to celebrate the resilience, strength, and contributions of trans individuals, while also recognizing the ongoing fight for equality, dignity, and safety.

Visibility matters. It fosters understanding, promotes acceptance, and challenges the discrimination and stigma that trans people continue to face. But visibility alone is not enough. It must be met with meaningful action. MoveUP remains committed to advocating for inclusive workplaces, where trans and non-binary workers are respected, supported, and free from harassment or discrimination.

We recognize that trans rights are human rights. As attacks on trans people escalate globally, we reaffirm our unwavering support for trans-inclusive policies, healthcare access, and protections against transphobia. We will continue to push for stronger workplace equity practices, and fight against all forms of discrimination.

To our trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse members: we see you, we support you, and we celebrate you—not just today, but every day.

In solidarity,
