Lily Grewal:
Vancity member for over 13 years, Lily brings advocacy for social justice, community centric values and engaged leadership to Vancity Board. She has served 3 years as the Chair of the HR Committee and sat on the Audit, Risk and Governance Committees. Lily works in government and volunteers her time to the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, Vancity Community Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Delta-Richmond, and the Council of Agencies Serving South Asians. She is committed to protecting Vancity’s financial assets while working with employees and members to expand on our groundbreaking successes, representing diverse voices and deepening our commitment to environmental and cooperative values.
Theodora (Theo) Lamb:
Theo Lamb is the founder and principal of Cicada Community Consulting, specializes in helping values-based organizations with digital advocacy, support and facilitates engagement with their member communities. She has been on the Vancity Board of Directors for three years. Theo has served as Chair of Nominations and Elections, Vice-Chair of Governance and sat on the Audit, Risk and Banking Application Renewal Committees. She represents Vancity on the BC Cooperative Association’s Board of Directors. Theo is a co-founder of the Feeding Growth Progressive Food Series. She volunteers with the BC Children’s Hospital annual Miracle Weekend Telethon. Theo brings her expertise and passion for supporting sustainable local businesses, community engagement and social responsibility to her role on the Vancity Board of Directors.
Anita Braha:
For nearly 20 years, Anita Braha practiced law specializing in human rights, equity, labour and employment issues. Currently, she is on the Board of the B.C. Industrial Relations Association and the President of the Galiano Loan Fund Society. Anita has served on the Vancity Board for two terms. She is the current Chair of the Board, has chaired of the Governance and Human Resources Committees and sat on the Audit, Risk and BAR Committees. Anita also sits on the Central 1 and Stabilization Central Credit Union Boards. She holds an Institute of Corporate Directors certified director designation. Anita brings compassion, integrity, respect and effective leadership to Vancity, its members and Board.
