Article 19.02 Employee Personnel Files

Prior to repatriation to BC Hydro on May 1, 2018, the union encourages you to take advantage of your newly bargained rights under Article 19.

You have the right to request that any letter or details related to complaints, reprimands or discipline which are more than 2 years old be removed from your personnel file, provided there has not been any further infraction during that time.

As per MOU 85, and your letter of consent provided to BC Hydro, your personnel files will be provided to BC Hydro on repatriation.  We recommend that the files be purged if necessary before transfer.
