To: All MoveUP members at BC Transit
We are very excited to now be able to provide you with the details of the tentative agreement reached between your bargaining committee and with BC Transit on a new collective agreement.
This new agreement contains strong monetary increases and language improvements, and we are unanimously recommending ratification.
We will be scheduling two townhall meetings prior to the ratification vote. These townhall meetings will be held on:
- Tuesday August 25th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (virtual only) – A Teams Link will be sent to your personal email address.
- Wednesday August 26th, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in person in the VTC Boardroom and virtually – A Teams Link will be sent to your personal email address.
A questionnaire will be distributed to all members so that they can submit questions in advance of the webinar. We strongly encourage all members to attend.
We thank all of you for your patience and solidarity throughout the bargaining process. Your support and engagement played an important part in helping us achieve this tentative agreement.
