Bargaining
Coastal Community Credit Union – Bargaining Update #4: Progress Made, Key Member Priorities Still on the Table
July 23, 2026
To: All MoveUP members at CCCU
Your bargaining committee met with the employer on July 21 and 22 for another two days of hard conversations focused on monetary items.
The parties have made progress, but the battle is not over. There are still several items on the table that members identified as meaningful through your direct survey feedback, and your committee continues to push hard for those priorities. We are holding the employer’s feet to the fire and remain committed to achieving a fair agreement that reflects what matters most to CCCU members.
Your bargaining committee offered to continue meeting through the summer. However, due to availability on the employer’s end, bargaining will not resume until September.
The parties are scheduled to meet again on September 8, 9, and 10.
We will continue to keep members updated as bargaining progresses. Thank you for your ongoing support, solidarity, and engagement throughout this process.
In solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee,
Marah Carnes, Executive Councillor
Kristin Hewer, Executive Councillor
