Candidates for Vice-President
Anderson Charles
Being an Executive Board member since 2018, Anderson has seen significant issues raised which affects members at Fortis, Powertech and BC Hydro. From the employers abusing our rights as workers under our collective agreements, changes in government policies which can affect our livelihoods, to the lack of union visibility in our workplaces. It is time for our Utilities members to come together and shape our path forward. It is time for a change in direction and a change in voice to champion our member’s rights and keep our jobs safe.
Anderson’s aim and objective is to be that change. We need to be proactive and not reactionary to the possible changes and we need to rebuild our sense of unity and community together.
Anderson knows that together we are stronger and will be that needed change. He is looking for your support to be your next Vice-President for Utilities.
