IWA-FIBP – Tentative Agreement Reached
September 22, 2023
To: All MoveUP members at IWA-FIBP
Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with your employer, IWA-FIBP.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
• A three-year agreement
• Wage increases of 6%, 3%, 2%
• Increases to Sick Leave
• Increases to Bereavement Leave
• Increases to Parking and Transit Subsidy to $125\Monthly, including reimbursement for fitness facility membership
• Increases to Tuition Reimbursement
• Increases to Vision Care, Acupuncture, Chiropractor, Naturopath, Massage Therapy, Physio Therapy, Psychology and Clinical Counselling Coverage
• Increase Health Spending Account to $800\annual
Your bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the tentative agreement. We will be holding a meeting on September 27, 2023 in order to review the tentative agreement with you.
In attendance will be your bargaining committee as well as Vice President of Combined Units, Christy Slusarenko. You can review the tentative agreement in advance of the meeting here.

TIME: 11 a.m to 1 p.m.
VIA: Auditorium, On-Site
An online vote will be conducted following the meeting. Please ensure you are registered on the member portal in order to be able to vote. You can request your membership number here. Please register for the portal as soon as possible to avoid any last minute issues. Online voting will be open from 8:30 a.m. on September 27, 2023 to 4:30 p.m. on September 28, 2023
