UWU-BCGEU Bargaining Update #1

To: All MoveUP members at the BCGEU
As you are likely aware, the UWU is currently in bargaining with your employer. They have alerted their membership that they have received an insulting offer from the employer and that they have expressed that they are unlikely to move off of this position. As a show of solidarity and to demonstrate the resolve of their membership UWU is asking their members to wear black this Thursday July 20, 2023 and Friday July 21, 2023.
MoveUP, and your bargaining committee, would like to encourage our members to also wear black on these two days to show your employer that we stand together with our UWU siblings. Our bargaining is just around the corner and it is critical that we show a united front as workers together.
