BCNU Staff Spotlight – Laura Comuzzi

What do BCNU support staff do for the hard-working nurses of BC? Meet Laura…

Laura is a graphic designer in the Communications Department and has worked at BCNU since 2009. She develops communication items such as brochures, banners and election campaign materials so that nurses have a voice and are visible in their workplaces and communities.

“I was proud to work for BCNU and to support our hard-working nurses,” says Laura. “This lockout and provoked strike has left me disillusioned and sad that BCNU management doesn’t respect and support us enough to offer a fair collective agreement without concessions.”

Tell BCNU leaders to stand up for their values and walk the talk by negotiating a fair contract with MoveUP.
