Workers at Beem Credit Union call centre hub join MoveUP union

MoveUP is proud to announce that workers at Beem Credit Union’s (formerly G&F) call centre hubs have voted to join our union. The 11 new union members, split between two locations in Burnaby and Langley, add to MoveUP’s ever-expanding footprint at Beem Credit Union.

“We are very excited to welcome these workers to join the 50 existing members who work at Beem Credit Union branches across the province,” said Annette Toth, president of MoveUP. “Unions have been fundamental in building credit unions, so having unionized workers at credit unions is about reinforcing our shared values of growing and strengthening communities and the people who live and work in them.”

MoveUP is a union of choice among workers in the credit union industry. In addition to representing workers at Beem, MoveUP also represents credit union workers across all regions in British Columbia, including at: Coastal Community Credit Union, Community Savings Credit Union, Island savings Credit Union, Ladysmith & District Credit Union, and VantageOne Credit Union.
