Welcome to the Year of the Monkey!

MoveUP wishes all members and their families the very best for the Lunar New Year – the Year of the Monkey.

The monkey is the 9th sign on the Chinese Zodiac, and is associated with the character traits curiosity, mischievousness, and cleverness.

A reminder that our members and their families are welcome to join MoveUP board members and members of the Multicultural Committee on Sunday, February 14, 2016 to walk in the Lunar New Year parade.

This will be the eighth year that members and their families will participate in the parade. The procession will walk through Vancouver’s Chinatown via Pender and Keefer Streets.

If you are interested and have not already registered, please click here to do so and be sure to include how many family members will be attending. If you have any questions, please email jholmwood@moveuptogether.ca

The MoveUP party will meet before the parade, at 10:30 AM in front of T&T Supermarket at the International Village, one block from Stadium SkyTrain station. We will then proceed to the Chinatown gate for 10:45 AM, where we will be handing out red packets.

We wish you happiness, health and good fortune this New Year and hope to see you at the parade!
