Statement on Adrian Dix’s Resignation as NDP Leader

Today Adrian Dix announced he would be stepping down as leader of the BC NDP once a leadership convention can be held. We thank Adrian for all of his hard work on behalf of MoveUP members, especially the members at BC Hydro and Accenture Business Services who have borne the brunt of misguided BC Liberal policies.

We also thank him for his dedication to the BC NDP. Like him, we were disappointed with the election results and we thank him for taking this courageous step and allowing the BC NDP to refocus on being an effective advocate for working people and building towards the next election.
