Paying membership dues
While the majority of members will have their union dues automatically deducted, some members – when on parental leave, long-term disability or other circumstances – find that their dues deductions stop.
To keep your membership current, you can pay your dues either through a credit union, by e-transfer, or through our PayPal account.
Method 1: Paying through a credit union
If you credit union is set up to pay us directly via online banking, you can make your payment directly through your credit union. We are set up as a payee under the name “COPE Local 378.”
Method 2: As an e-transfer
You can pay us directly through Interac e-transfer by sending your payment to etransfer@moveuptogether.ca.
In the memo field, please make sure to include your name (even if you are paying for yourself) as well as your MoveUP member ID number. If you do not know your MoveUP member number, you can fill out an online form to request it.
Alternatively, you can put your name, your employer, and your employee number (e.g. John Doe, ICBC, 123456).
Method 3: Through a debit or credit card via PayPal
When you click on the link below, you will be taken to a page that asks you to enter a ‘donation’ amount. Enter the amount as directed by a letter or phone call from the union office.
Although the PayPal page says “donation” please be assured that you are paying your membership dues, which are tax deductible.
