Job Steward Level 1 Training
November 16 - November 17
MoveUP is offering level 1 training for all job stewards, executive councillors and executive board members who have not previously attended this course. If you are interested in attending this training and are not yet a board approved steward you can register for this training now and reach out afterwards to your MoveUP vice-president.
Attendees must attend both day of classes.
Saturday, November 16, 2019 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (lunch will be provided)
Sunday, November 17, 2019 – 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Previous classes have filled up quickly so register early. MoveUP will provide travel arrangements as well as a leave of absence should you require them. If your employer needs more than three weeks notice for leave requests, please contact Joanne at the time of registration to ensure that the request is sent within the timelines of your specific collective agreement.

You will receive a confirmation letter no later than October 18, 2019 should you be accepted for this training. Please note that the cancellation deadline is 4:30 p.m. November 6, 2019.
A reminder that the next job steward level 2 training will be held on December 7 to 8, 2019. Registration for this course will open in mid-October. In order to register for level 2 training, you must have completed the level 1 training. Registrants to the November job steward level 1 training are eligible to register for the December training.
