(EC areas #1211 to # 1219 are members employed at BC Hydro Edmonds A01- POD A 1st Floor, A02-POD A 2nd Floor, A03- POD A 3rd Floor, B02-POD B 2nd Floor, B03- POD B 3rd Floor, C01-POD C 1st Floor, Edmonds Tower 4th – 16th Floor, Edmonds Tower 18th Floor, Edmonds Operation Centre 2, Edmonds B01-POD B 1st Floor, Edmonds Annex, Edmonds C03-POD C 3rd Floor, Edmonds Operation Centre 1, Edmonds Annex- W1, Edmonds Annex-W3, Edmonds C02-POD C 2nd Floor and Edmonds B-P2. Members employed at Accenture BBY Edmonds C01 POD C-1st Floor, BBY Edmonds C02 POD C-2nd Floor and BBY Edmonds Annex.) (EC # 1211, #1214, #1215, #1216, #1217, #1218 & # 1219 are vacant).
Term Ending: April 30, 2026
In accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor position. Duties of the executive council are detailed in article 7.4 of the constitution.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day-to-day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union. You can find more detailed information on your role in the Executive Councillor Handbook which is available on the resources page for stewards and councillors of our website.
Patricia (Patti) Kim has submitted a nomination form for the above position. If there are no other nominations received by 4:30 p.m. PT on Thursday, May 16, 2024, Patti Kim will be declared the successful candidate.
