PrairieCoast Equipment – Agreement Reached

To: All MoveUP members at PCE
On Monday, October 30th, the parties met together at the Labour Board for mediation regarding the wages grievance. While at the board, the votes for the de-certification were counted and it was determined that MoveUP will continue to represent you.
After that determination, the parties commenced mediation on the wages grievance and we are very pleased to report an agreement was reached. The parties agreed that your collective agreement is in place and is retroactive to the date of ratification which was June 23, 2023. A final version of the collective agreement is in the process of being prepared, but in the meantime you may refer to the June 2023 Memorandum of Understanding here and the October 30, 2023 settlement agreement here.
We would like to hold a membership meeting on the evening of November 14th, so please save the date. A confirmation will be sent out once the location is confirmed.
This has been a long road and we are very pleased that we now have a collective agreement in place. Your employer is working on implementing the agreement including the wages and retroactive pay (as applicable) and more information will be provided on this when it is available.
