Powertech – Flexible Working Schedules due to COVID-19

To: All MoveUP Members at Powertech
You and your families health and safety are the utmost important priority and your Union is in discussion with your employer to determine if there is the ability to implement on a voluntary basis a more flexible work schedule than what is currently allowed under your collective agreement to help members whose work requires them to go into the workplace.
Your Union wants to hear from you if you have any concerns with your current work environment and if there are ways to structure working hours or workdays that would improve social distancing, meet your family responsibilities, and your health and safety. The COVID-19 pandemic is continually evolving, and information and plans are changing very rapidly. We have been monitoring the situation closely. Reports and governmental recommendations are changing daily. We are working diligently to keep track of any mandates from government.
