Phone banking volunteers needed for October 5 & 9

We are looking for volunteers to reach out to fellow MoveUP members to remind them about getting out to vote in the municipal elections. We will be working with the Vancouver & District Labour Council and New Westminster & District Labour Council to connect with members who live in those areas.

As a volunteer with MoveUP, you will only be calling other MoveUP members.

Volunteers are needed during the day on either Monday, October 5 or Friday, October 9. We can provide an LOA for you if you require one. Please expect to be there for the entire day. Ideally, you will have your own laptop computer to bring to the phone banking session. A smartphone will work, but a laptop computer is ideal. It is also recommended you have your own headset with microphone.

If you can volunteer, please send an email to pac@moveuptogether.ca by this Monday, September 28. Let us know which session(s) you can make – October 5 and/or October 9. Make sure to let us know if you require an LOA for that day/those days. We will confirm your attendance after the RSVP deadline.
