PrairieCoast – Tentative Agreement Reached – Ratification Meeting June 20

To: All MoveUP members at PCE
As you know, the Parties reached a tentative agreement on May 17th, 2023. Your Union has been unable to achieve your Employer’s signature on the Memorandum of Agreement.
After a careful review of bargaining notes, correspondence between the parties, and Labour Board documentation, we have determined that the parties have in fact reached agreement, regardless of whether your Employer has placed their signature on the Memorandum of Agreement.
Therefore, we will be proceeding with a ratification vote. You can review the memorandum in it’s entirety here.
Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- Approximately 3.5% wage increase
- Implementation of a wage grid
- 2 x 15 minute paid breaks daily for all employees
- Paid Mileage for travel for work purposes
- Improved RRSP contribution matching
- 35 Articles and 2 Appendices of other provisions to govern the workplace effective as of the date of ratification
Your bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.
We will be holding a meeting on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 in order to review the tentative agreement with you. This will also be your opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot.
