Notice of By-Election – Nominations Open – Executive Councillor #1667

To: All MoveUP Members at ICBC in EC 1667 Area
(EC #1667 represents all ICBC members in Kamloops and Salmon Arm)
Term Ending: April 30, 2020
Due to the resignation of Dorothy Felling, and in accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor position. Duties of the executive council are detailed in article 7.4 of the constitution.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union.
Deadline for nomination forms to be received at the union office is 4:30pm on Friday, July 6, 2018.
