LDCU Tentative Agreement Reached

To: MoveUP Members at Ladysmith & District Credit Union


Your union and the employer met for bargaining on January 18, 2022.  Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with the employer.

We will be holding a membership meeting on January 24, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., via Microsoft Teams. The link will be sent to your home email address under separate cover. Your bargaining team will review the tentative agreement with you and answer any questions you may have. Upon conclusion of this meeting, you will be able to vote on it through Member Portal. In case that you have not signed up, please follow the instructions here and register today.

Some highlights of the tentative agreement are as follows:

  • Wage increases:
    • 2021:     2.00%
    • 2022:     2.25%
    • 2023:     2.25%
    • 2024:     2.50%
  • One-time signing bonus is $500.
  • You shall be entitled to allocate up to 50% of your staff RRSP portfolio to LDCU Financial Management.
  • The Flex Compensation Program offers one additional option.
  • Term of agreement July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2025.
