Job Steward Meeting re: Changes in Representation Strategy

To: All MoveUP Job Stewards at the BCFMWU (admin unit), BCNU, BCGEU, BM 191, HEI, IAM 140, IAM 250, Teamsters 155, Teamsters 213, Teamsters 213MBP, Teamsters 31 and Xylem Water Solutions
Following the mission, vision, and values set by the Executive Board, MoveUP is beginning to make changes in our representation work. We are putting more emphasis on organizing and activating members around the priorities in their workplaces. We have scheduled a job stewards meeting for unit that will be among the first to see some of these changes. Please join us in discussing how building workplace power can allow MoveUP members deal with their important issues.
The details of the meeting are as follows:
DATE: Monday, September 16, 2019
TIME: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
LOCATION: McPherson Room, MoveUP (301 – 4501 Kingsway, Burnaby)
