ICBC: Tentative Agreement Ratification Results and other Key InformationInforby Membership

Please be advised that the ballots were counted June 11, 2020 by the MoveUP Returning Officer.
The MoveUP members at ICBC voted in favour of accepting the proposed terms of settlement.
The results are as follows:
Accept Proposed Terms of Settlement: 1917
Reject Proposed Terms of Settlement: 147
Spoiled Ballots: 0
Total Ballots Cast: 2064
Our thanks to everyone who took time to cast their vote in this ratification.
We will update the collective agreement with the agreed changes and once both parties review and sign we will provide a copy to the membership. A copy of the Memorandum of Agreement and the collective agreement can also be found on our website.
Salary Adjustments and Retroactive Pay
ICBC has advised us that your retroactive pay increase and gainshare payments will paid in July, as we anticipated. Below is the payment schedule and a few other pieces of information that may be of interest.
All money owed for the July 1, 2019 retroactive wage increases will be paid:
- July 9 Salaried Employees (essentially full-time)
- July 17 Hourly Employees (essentially part-time)
To receive this retroactive pay increase a member must be an employee on June 11, 2020. Your updated earnings rate will start to show up on your next pay statement.
The 2020 Gainshare will be paid as follows:
- July 23 Salaried Employees (essentially full-time)
- July 31 Hourly Employees (essentially part-time)
Everyone will see their next pay increase of 2% applied on July 1, 2020.
Members at step zero in salary bands 3-7, will go to step 1 as of June 11, 2020.
