FortisBC’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Survey

We are writing to let you know that we received information that the Company released an email identifying that they are wishing for the members to participate in a survey.  This survey is regarding the collection of “demographic diversity information and perspectives on inclusion within your workplace”.

We were informed that the survey is voluntary, anonymous, and will be administered by a 3^rd party and no unique qualifier questions will be asked, such as “where you report to work”.

As you may be aware the Union takes its membership’s privacy very seriously, and we wish to confirm that this survey is strictly voluntary, and if you wish to respond, that is your right to do so, as is your right not to.

It is your decision if you wish to participate or not.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your job steward.
