FortisBC- New LOU#45 Remote Work
December 18, 2024
To: All MoveUP Members at FortisBC
As you may recall, during this past round of negotiations, your bargaining committee negotiated a new Letter of Understanding, LOU#45 for remote work (click here to view).
As per the LOU, the parties met December 18, 2024, within the outlined ninety calendar days following ratification, to begin discussions on the program.
The committee discussed the processes that the company requires to have in place prior to the first test group starting.
The company committee members are Colin Murdoch, Sr. Manager, Employee & Labour Relations, Arlene Whiffin, Director, External Communications, Jeff May, Controller, Financial & Regulatory Accounting, and Darwin Anderson, Director, IS Enterprise & Tech Services.
With the holiday season fast approaching, the company committee will provide their proposed draft by the end of January with the hopes to reconvene with the entire committee in February.
Any questions, comment or concerns related to the LOU#45 remote work program, please direct your questions to FBC Remote Work Committee fbcrwc@moveuptogether.ca.
