FortisBC – Mental Health Coverage for Flex Benefits Base Option and Option Three Will Increase as of January 1, 2025

Please be advised that as per page 92 of our Memorandum of Agreement with the company, the increases to your mental health care coverage agreed to in our last round of negotiations will be effective at the beginning of the new year.
As of January 1, 2025, if you selected the base option or option three of your flex benefits plan, your coverage will increase from $400/year for psychologist services to $1,000/year for services from a wide range of mental health care practitioners.
As the holidays can be a mentally and emotionally strenuous time for many, we would like to remind you to take advantage of all the resources available to you, and we invite you to check in on those around you to ensure that everyone gets the support they need to be as happy and as healthy as possible this season.
