Help us celebrate and support Pride events in your community!

Celebrating Pride events in our communities is important to us as a union to demonstrate solidarity and support with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, which many of our members are part of.
Our Human Rights & Multicultural Committee is seeking volunteers to help spread that support, and awareness of our union, during the 2024 Pride season throughout the province.
While we have traditionally participated in the large Vancouver Pride Parade, and earlier this month we joined the Victoria Pride Parade, our committee has decided this year to expand our support to smaller festivals across the province with our own Pride squads. That’s where we need your help!
If you are available and can help us hand out some of our new Pride swag for the following events, please send an email to Kathryn Prinz at kprinz@moveuptogether.ca. We will get you all set up with our newly designed Pride t-shirts that you can help us hand out. Please email Kathryn as soon as possible if you are available for one of these upcoming events.
