CCIS Bargaining Committee – Nominations Now Open

To: MoveUP Members at Coastal Community Insurance Services
The MoveUP and Coastal Community Insurance Services collective agreement will expire on December 31, 2023. Please be aware the agreement will continue in full force until a new agreement is negotiated and ratified. Before this can happen, you must select your bargaining committee.
The bargaining committee will consist of four members, comprised of one executive councillor and three job stewards. Your union representative will also sit on the committee to lead negotiations.
Your executive councillor is Leslie Bell. We will be conducting an election to fill the remaining three positions. If you are a Job Steward who would like to sit on the committee, or if you would like to nominate a Job Steward, please submit your name to Shelley Martin at smartin@moveuptogether.ca by 4:30pm on Friday, May 12, 2023. In the event that there are more nominations than positions available, an election will be held.
