CCCU Bargaining Update #3
June 26, 2026
To: All members at CCCU
We’re excited to introduce a new member to the bargaining committee, Kristin Hewer, Job Steward and Executive Councillor. Kristin has been a long-time member of CCCU and brings valuable experience and perspective. We are confident she will be an excellent addition to the team.
Your bargaining committee met with the employer again on June 25 to conclude discussions on non-monetary items. While progress was made, some important items remain unresolved and will require further discussion at future meetings.
On a positive note, we have now moved into discussions on monetary items. Your committee has tabled a comprehensive package of proposals for the employer’s consideration. We have remained firm in our mandate to accept no concessions and were successful in having the employer withdraw several of their proposals.
Your bargaining committee is scheduled to meet again on July 20, with bargaining sessions with the employer set for July 21 and 22. We will continue to keep you informed as discussions progress.
In Solidarity,
Your Bargaining Committee
