CapilanoU – Reminder: Orange Shirts and National Truth and Reconciliation Day

To: All MoveUP members at Capilano University
In commemoration of this year’s Orange Shirt Day, MoveUP will be providing free orange shirts to all MoveUP members interested in receiving one.
Although they are free, we are encouraging members to donate what they can, if they can in exchange for the shirt. We will be collecting all donations and splitting the proceeds between the “Orange Shirt Foundation” and the “Indian Residential School Survivors Society”
We are also pleased to share that the Capilano University Foundation will match all donations from our Orange Shirt fundraiser, up to $1000.00.
We will be on campus distributing orange shirts on the following dates:
September 24 – 11:30 – 1:30 @ BIRCH 126
September 29 – 11:30 – 1:30 @ BIRCH 126
