MoveUP’s Human Rights and Multicultural Committee would like to share the following:
| The VDLC Anti-Racism Committee is hosting a virtual event on May 1st, 2022 – International Workers’ Day.
Register here: Who: All union members who want to learn and share about racism and anti-racism in the workplace. What: A webinar focused on: how to break the silence and be an anti-racist ally; how to document racism and make it visible; where to target our action; updating each other on actions taking place in our unions and workplaces. When: May 1, 2022 10:00 am – 12:00 pm Where: Zoom. Link will be sent upon registration. Why: To build an anti-racist labour movement, strengthen our solidarity, educate ourselves about the effects of racism, and amplify actions and strategies already taken.
