BCNU – We have an Update from your Joint Labour Management Committee

To: All MoveUP members at BCNU
The Labour Relations Officer (L.R.O) Training Program will be returning. Your employer has advised us they are hoping to post the opportunities in the next month.
We would also like to advise that short term disability forms are now available on your staff intranet. Please refer to Anna Felty’s email provided to staff on June 6th, 2024.
Regarding compensation, for those not able to work remotely, there will be forthcoming conversations with your employer regarding this topic as it was a discussion with the BCNU during bargaining. Due to the departure of Moninder Singh, this conversation needs to be re-initiated.
Lastly, members are able to apply for BCNU job postings outside their geographical location, however, all costs associated with commuting to your home office will be borne by the employee. In person requirements or attendance to the designated BCNU office is not tied or related to past practice and subject to change.
