Contested nominations will now go to a vote by electronic ballot. You can view all the areas where an election has been called on the 2023 Triennial Executive Councillor Election webpage. You will also be able to view candidate bios and/or photos if they have been submitted.
HOW TO VOTE
In those Executive Councillor areas where an election is required, you can cast your vote by logging onto the MoveUP Member Portal starting on April 5 at 8:30 a.m. PT until the voting deadline of 4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Voting electronically is easy and is done through the Member Portal. In order to vote, you must have a Member Portal account. If you have not yet set up your Member Portal account, please click here for instructions.
You will require your member number in order to create a Member Portal account. If you do not have your member number, you can request it by going to moveuptogether.ca/membernumber.
Once you log into the Member Portal you will be directed to the option to vote on screen. This is a secure and confidential web page, and no one will be able to access it but you. You will receive an automatic reply indicating that your vote was successful.
You can log onto the Member Portal any time after voting begins up to the deadline to vote.
If you have recently changed work locations, please ensure that the information in your Member Portal is accurate as the ballot will include candidates for EC areas using your last known work address. If your work location information is not accurate, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca.
If you do not have access to a computer to vote and would prefer a paper ballot you must make your request by email to the Returning Officer no later than 4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Your ballot must be received in the MoveUP office by the voting deadline.
