CCIS – Bargaining Is Starting: Meet Your Committee and Complete the Survey!

To: All MoveUP members at CCIS
We are excited to let you know that preparations are underway for the upcoming round of collective bargaining. Bargaining is the process where your union and the employer meet to negotiate the terms and conditions of your collective agreement, including wages, benefits, working conditions, job security, and other important language that affects your workplace.
Your bargaining committee includes Sunshine Defrane, Ally de Leeuw, Jeff Alexander, and Leslie Bell. As long-serving members and job stewards, they bring experience, commitment, and strong advocacy on behalf of the membership. Dora Wong, your union representative, will chair the committee and support the bargaining team throughout the process.
This is your opportunity to have a say in what matters most. Please take a few minutes to complete the bargaining survey and let us know what changes you would like to see in your contract. A link to the survey will be send to your home email – if you did not receive it, please email Sonja smcgowan@moveuptogether.ca.
Your participation and input will help the bargaining committee identify members’ priorities and bring a stronger, more informed voice to the table. Please complete the survey no later than 2 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
