BC Ferries should be built in BC. On Monday morning, MoveUP President Annette Toth attended a press conference and stood in solidarity with over 20 unions in the ‘Build Them Here’ coalition. MoveUP is proud to be a part of this coalition of unions and industry leaders who are working to keep good jobs in BC.

When we build ferries here, we are investing good jobs for British Columbians and in ferries that we can fix and maintain here at home. BC shipbuilders are among the best in the world, but BC Ferries recently decided to build four new major vessels in China instead of in BC.
