ICBC – Attendance Management Program Grievance Update

To: All MoveUP members at ICBC
In our last update, we advised Arbitrator Ken Saunders was appointed to hear our policy grievance on ICBC’s Attendance Management Program. At that time, we were told the earliest we would get in front of him to present our case was late Fall.
Since then, Arbitrator Saunders proposed dates in November 2026. However, ICBC stated they would not be ready to present their case at that time and only agreed to the next available dates, which are not until April 2027.
We understand how pressing this issue is to our members. We want to get a resolution as soon as possible. Arbitrator Saunders has been asked to notify us if any earlier dates open up in his schedule, either later this year or early next year.
In the meantime, your union and our legal counsel will continue preparing the best possible case for our members.
Please continue to discuss all of your AMP related concerns with your job stewards. We will keep you updated on any progress with the policy grievance.
