MoveUP has a long and proud tradition of supporting women in the workplace. Our union’s roots trace back to the women workers of the BC Electric Railway Company, and for over 100 years we’ve championed the fight for workplace equity.
Now we’re bringing that same energy to the basketball court! Join us at the upcoming Cross-Canada Series Vancouver, where MoveUP is proud to be an official sponsor. We’ll be cheering on the Toronto Tempo, the WNBA’s newest team and Canada’s first professional women’s basketball franchise, as they play their first-ever game in Vancouver!
Join us on Friday, August 21st to cheer on the Toronto Tempo when they face the Portland Fire at Rogers Arena in Vancouver!
Game Night: Friday, August 21, 2026
Game Time: 7 p.m.
Doors Open: 6 p.m.
Location: Rogers Arena, 800 Griffiths Way, Vancouver
Tickets Details: Tickets are $15 per person. One (1) ticket per member and three (3) guest ticket(s). – Member MUST attend with their guest(s).
We expect this event to sell out very quickly. There are no waitlists and no refunds.
