(EC # 1530 to #1533 are members employed at FortisBC Energy Inc Surrey SO, Surrey SO2, Surrey SO3, Surrey SO4, Surrey Roebuck Muster and Surrey Education.)(EC #’s 1532 & 1533 were vacant).

This is to inform you the result of the recent by-election to fill the vacant executive councillor position for areas 1532 & 1533, the deadline for nominations  was 4:30 p.m. PT on Monday, July 6, 2026.

  • Hao Chen has been elected by acclamation for EC Area #1532.
