BC Transit – Bargaining Update #4

To: All MoveUP members at BC Transit
Your bargaining committee met with your employer on March 24-26 to continue the process of renewing the collective agreement.
The Parties continue to make progress on monetary proposals and a few non-monetary proposals that remain outstanding.
We are focused on bringing you the best possible deal for ratification as soon as possible and we are closely monitoring the progress of other public sector bargaining tables in British Columbia, including the progress being made between Unifor and BC Transit.
We have dates set for April 28- May 1 and some tentative dates in May and June.
We appreciate your continued patience and support. Good deals take time and we look forward to reviewing the highlights of our negotiations with you as soon as possible.
