ICBC – Bargaining Update #2
December 12, 2025
To: All MoveUP members at ICBC
Your bargaining committee met with ICBC again on December 9, 2025, to continue negotiations.
On this day, the parties provided brief initial responses to non-monetary proposals and were able to sign off on some housekeeping changes and renewals of letters of understanding.
We are still in the very initial stages of conversations, having only exchanged proposals and had some brief back and forth on the intentions and priorities of the parties.
What’s Next?
ICBC needed to utilize December 10 and 11 as caucus days to connect with the business and other departments in order to prepare responses to our proposals. Our next meetings are on January 8 and 15, 2026. We will update you again on our progress following those dates.
We are still planning to hold a telephone town hall for all members in the new year. Details on this will be forthcoming once a date has been confirmed.
