The Canadian Labour Congress has announced training courses for those interested in running for municipal office in 2026. Please see the list of courses below.

Municipal elections will be taking place in October 2026 across British Columbia. Municipalities across our province will be electing local representatives including mayors, city councillors, and school board trustees.

The labour movement is always in search of candidates who are interested in running for public office so they can bring workers’ voices to the table and ensure that our progressive values are shared.
